Mind and body are not separate

In Chinese Medicine, emotional and physical health are understood together. This is the heart of my clinical work.

Stress, anxiety, low mood, emotional exhaustion, disturbed sleep, overthinking or a persistent sense of being “stuck” often come with very physical changes: in digestion, energy, appetite, tension or sleep.

Chinese Medicine looks at these experiences together, and consultations explore how they connect in your own life.

Areas I work with

Anxiety

Worry that is hard to switch off, a racing heart, tight chest or restless sleep.

Stress & emotional exhaustion

Running on empty, irritability, fatigue and the long tail of prolonged stress.

Sleep difficulties

Trouble falling asleep, waking in the night, vivid dreams or waking unrefreshed.

Low mood

Heaviness, low motivation, a flat or tearful feeling that lingers.

Overthinking

Circular thoughts, difficulty settling and a mind that will not slow down.

Something else?

Fatigue, tension or the emotional effects of a difficult period. Get in touch and we can talk it through.

Alongside, not instead of. Chinese Medicine can be used alongside conventional medical or psychological care, not as a replacement for necessary treatment. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, contact your GP or local emergency services straight away (999 or 111 in the UK, 112 in Europe).
